As a visual media professional and cultural entrepreneur born in 1976, I have spent over twenty-five years combining artistic direction, technical innovation, and project management. My career began in Paris in the late 1990s as an alternative media pioneer, where I founded a local television station, followed by one of the very first musical Web TVs at La Flèche d'Or—a groundbreaking venue at the time that blended concerts, conferences, and dining. It was there that I forged my expertise in live multicam production and directing; an agile know-how that I later deployed on both a national and international scale for major event production agencies such as Novelty and Magnum.
Initially working as a cinematographer and editor, I was an early adopter of full-frame HDSLR filmmaking as early as 2008, bringing a resolutely cinematic look to my images. To this aesthetic sensibility, I quickly added complete technical mastery of the entire production pipeline: I obtained my commercial drone pilot license to enrich my projects with aerial perspectives, and developed my skills in motion design and 2D computer graphics to create special effects, title sequences, and broadcast graphics.
It is precisely this technical foundation and my comprehensive mastery of the entire production workflow that naturally led me to directing. As a Director, I now drive the staging and artistic direction of ambitious projects, ranging from music videos and commercials to brand content and television broadcasts.
Following my move to Arles, I expanded my practice to large-format view camera photography with my project "Images Solides" (Solid Images). As a wet plate collodion specialist, I was invited by the Rencontres de la Photographie festival to set up my studio during its 50th anniversary in 2019, and several of my works have since joined the collections of the Musée Français de la Photographie.
After co-founding and managing multiple creative spaces, I chose, in the wake of the pandemic, to establish my own venue: L'Aire d'Arles. This hybrid cultural hub combines local gastronomy, art exhibitions, and cultural events. At the heart of this space, I have set up my digital photo studio and post-production suite, where I continue to drive my audiovisual and photographic projects forward.
